Emily was a photographer based in Dallas before starting her accounting career in early 2000. After a few years in Dallas, she relocated to New Orleans to finish her Bachelor of Arts at the University of New Orleans. In 2008 she started Egan Tax Consulting, a small tax and accounting firm while actively pursuing her CPA.  Her background is based in helping startups and small companies with all things accounting, financing, inventory control, and general problem-solving.  In August of 2019, she relocated to Austin to join our team as our Office Manager and Bookkeeper.  She loves numbers and gets excited to balance accounts, and she is a fun and friendly gal.  If you come by the office, chances are she will be the one to greet you with a warm smile.
